स्वप्नान्तरे पश्यति चात्मनोऽन्यत्।

र्लिङ्गात्तथा गच्छति लिङ्गमन्यत्॥ १४॥ | | | | | | अनुवाद | | जैसे स्वप्न में मनुष्य अपने कटे हुए अंग को अपने से अलग होकर पृथ्वी पर पड़ा हुआ देखता है, वैसे ही शुद्ध मन और बुद्धि वाला पुरुष, जो दसों इन्द्रियों, पाँच प्राणों, मन और बुद्धि - इन सत्रह तत्त्वों के समुदाय का अभिमान करता है, उसे अपने शरीर को अपने से अलग जानना चाहिए। जो ऐसा नहीं जानता, वह एक शरीर से दूसरे शरीर में जन्म लेता रहता है। 14॥ | | | | Just as in a dream a man sees the severed part of his body separated from himself and lying on the earth, in the same way a man with a pure mind and intellect who is proud of the community of the ten senses, five vital organs, mind and intellect – these seventeen elements – should know his body as separate from himself.
