इतना ही नहीं, वह दृष्टि, श्रुति, मति और विज्ञति इन चारों गुणों से रहित है। वह ज्ञान के कारण स्वरूप चार कारकों - प्रत्यक्षज्ञान, अनुमान, उपमा और शब्द - से परे है। उसे इच्छित वस्तु की प्राप्ति से उत्पन्न होने वाला सुख और उसके भोग से उत्पन्न होने वाला आनंद नहीं है। वह दुःख और श्रम से भी पूर्णतः मुक्त है।॥8॥
Not only this, he is devoid of the four characteristics of Drishti, Shruti, Mati and Vijnati. He is beyond the four factors that are the cause of knowledge - Perception, Inference, Analogy and Words. There is no happiness arising from the attainment of the desired object and the joy arising from its enjoyment. He is also completely free from sorrow and labour.॥ 8॥
