जो मनुष्य निष्काम भाव से कर्म करता है, उसके पूर्वजन्म के समस्त कर्म-संस्कार नष्ट हो जाते हैं। पूर्वजन्म और इस जन्म के कर्म उस मनुष्य के लिए न तो अप्रिय फल उत्पन्न करते हैं और न ही सुखद (क्योंकि वह कर्तापन के अभिमान और फल की आसक्ति से मुक्त हो जाता है, अतः उन कर्मों से उसका कोई सम्बन्ध नहीं रहता)॥ 61॥
The action of the person who performs his work without any desire, destroys all the karmic impressions of his past. The actions of the previous birth and this birth neither give rise to unpleasant results nor pleasant results for that person (because he is free from the pride of being the doer and attachment to the result, he is no longer related to those actions).॥ 61॥
