जो धर्म, अर्थ और काम को ठीक से जानता है, जिसने गहन विचार करके उनका त्याग कर दिया है, तथा जिसने मन से आत्मा का अन्वेषण किया है और योग में तत्पर होकर आत्मा के अतिरिक्त अन्य किसी भी वस्तु की जिज्ञासा त्याग दी है, वही सत्य का अधिकारी है ॥57॥
He who has the correct knowledge of Dharma (righteousness), Artha (wealth) and Kama (desire), who has abandoned them after deep thought, and who has investigated the Self with the mind and being absorbed in Yoga has given up all curiosity for anything other than the Self, is the one who has the right to truth. ॥57॥
