जिस माध्यम से बुद्धि देखती है उसे नेत्र कहते हैं और जिस माध्यम से वह सुनती है उसे कान कहते हैं। इसी प्रकार जिस माध्यम से वह सूंघती है उसे नासिका कहते हैं और जिस माध्यम से वह स्वाद का अनुभव करती है उसे जिह्वा कहते हैं।॥19॥
The medium through which the intellect sees is called the eye and the medium through which it hears is called the ear. Similarly, the medium through which it smells is called the nose and the medium through which it experiences taste is called the tongue.॥19॥
