अन्योन्यभक्षणासक्ता लोभमोहसमन्विता:।
इहैव परिवर्तन्ते न ते यान्त्युत्तरां दिशम्॥ २३॥ |

| जो लोग लोभ और मोह से भरे हुए हैं तथा एक-दूसरे को खाने के लिए तत्पर रहते हैं, वे भी इस लोक में आते-जाते रहते हैं और उत्तर दिशा में स्थित श्रेष्ठ लोक में नहीं जा पाते। |
