प्रीतिप्रवृत्तौ विनिवर्तितौ यथा
सुहृत्सु विज्ञाय निवृत्य चोभयो:।
यदेव मित्रं गुरुभारमावहेत्
तदेव सुस्निग्धमुदाहरेद् बुध:॥ ५५॥ |

| यदि दो मित्र प्रेमपूर्वक किसी कार्य में मिलकर लगें और उसे मिलकर ही पूरा करें, तो उन्हें भली-भाँति जानकर जो मित्र अपने मित्र का अधिक भार उठाने में समर्थ हो, उसे विद्वान पुरुष को परम स्नेही मित्र समझना चाहिए और दूसरों को उसका उदाहरण देना चाहिए ॥ 55॥ |
