राजोवाच
अर्थेषु भागी पुरुष ईहमान: पुन: पुन:।
अलब्ध्वा मद्विधो राज्यं ब्रह्मन् किं कर्तुमर्हति॥ ४॥ |

| राजा ने इस प्रकार प्रश्न किया - हे ब्रह्म! मनुष्य धन का भागी माना गया है; परंतु यदि मेरे समान मनुष्य बार-बार प्रयत्न करने पर भी राज्य न पा सके, तो उसे क्या करना चाहिए?॥4॥ |
