आत्मनोऽध्रुवतां पश्यंस्तांस्त्वं किमनुशोचसि।
बुद्धॺा चैवानुबुद्धॺस्व ध्रुवं हि न भविष्यसि॥ १८॥
अनुवाद
तुम देखते और समझते हो कि यह शरीर अनित्य है, फिर तुम अपने पूर्वजों के लिए क्यों निरन्तर शोक करते हो? अपनी बुद्धि से विचार करो, एक दिन तुम्हारा भी अस्तित्व नहीं रहेगा ॥18॥
You see and understand that this body is temporary, then why do you constantly grieve for your ancestors? Just think with your intelligence, one day you too will not exist. ॥ 18॥
