तयोर्दैवं विनिश्चित्य स्वयं चैव प्रवर्तते।

| इन दोनों में ईश्वर अधिक बलवान है। वह स्वयं ही निश्चय करके बिना किसी पुरुषार्थ की अपेक्षा किए हुए अपने कर्म के फल में लग जाता है, किन्तु विद्वान् पुरुष केवल कुशलता का आश्रय लेकर ही पुरुषार्थ में लग जाते हैं ॥8॥ |
