यह सुनकर महादेवजी ने 'ऐसा ही हो' कहकर जीवों के नाना प्रकार के दोषों को देखकर जल में डुबकी लगा ली और महान तप का आश्रय लेकर दीर्घकाल तक तपस्या करते रहे॥11॥
On hearing this, Mahadeva said 'So be it' and after seeing the various faults of the living beings, he immersed himself in water and taking recourse to great austerity, he continued performing tapasya for a long time. ॥11॥
