कुलवंशप्रतिष्ठां हि पितर: पुत्रमब्रुवन्।
उत्तमं सर्वधर्माणां तस्मात् पुत्रं न संत्यजेत्॥ ९८॥
अनुवाद
पूर्वजों ने पुत्र को कुल और वंश की प्रतिष्ठा बताया है, अतः पुत्र सभी धर्मों में श्रेष्ठ है। अतः पुत्र का त्याग नहीं करना चाहिए ॥98॥
The ancestors have described the son as the prestige of the family and lineage, hence the son is the best in all religions. Therefore one should not abandon the son. 98॥
