तासां सा मेनका नाम ब्रह्मयोनिर्वराप्सरा:।
दिव: सम्प्राप्य जगतीं विश्वामित्रादजीजनत्॥ ६९॥
अनुवाद
'इन सबमें मेनका नाम की अप्सरा श्रेष्ठ है, क्योंकि वह स्वयं ब्रह्माजी से उत्पन्न हुई थी। उसी ने स्वर्ग से पृथ्वी पर आकर विश्वामित्र के संसर्ग से मुझे जन्म दिया।'
‘Among all of them, the Apsara named Menaka is the best, because she was born from Lord Brahma himself. It was she who came to earth from heaven and gave birth to me through the contact of Vishwamitra.
