विद्वान पुरुष अपनी पत्नी के गर्भ से उत्पन्न आत्मा को पुत्र कहता है। अतः पुरुष को चाहिए कि पुत्र की माता बनी हुई अपनी पत्नी को अपनी माता के समान समझे ॥48॥
'The learned man calls the soul born from his wife's womb as his son. Therefore, a man should look upon his wife, who has become the mother of a son, as his own mother. ॥ 48॥
