उग्रश्रवाजी कहते हैं - शौनक! जो सर्पजाल से बच गए थे और मोह से मुक्त हो गए थे तथा उस समय वासुकि नाग के घर पर उपस्थित थे, वे सब आस्तिक के मुख से उस यज्ञ की समाप्ति का समाचार सुनकर बहुत प्रसन्न हुए। आस्तिक के प्रति उनका प्रेम बहुत बढ़ गया और उन्होंने उससे कहा - 'बेटा! जो इच्छा हो, वर मांग लो'॥19॥
Ugrasravaji says - Shaunak! All the snakes who had survived the snake trap and were free from the illusion and were present at the house of Vasuki snake at that time, were very happy to hear the news of the end of that yajna from the mouth of Aastik.
