जरत्कारुरुवाच
ममायं पितरो नित्यं यद्यर्थ: परिवर्तते।
ऊर्ध्वरेता: शरीरं वै प्रापयेयममुत्र वै॥ ५॥ |

| जरत्कारु बोले - पितरों! मेरे हृदय में निरन्तर यही विचार घूम रहा था कि मैं इस शरीर को ऊर्ध्वरेता (अखण्ड ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करने वाला) बनकर परलोक (पुण्य के धाम) में ले जाऊँ॥5॥ |
