राजा परीक्षित अपने धर्म का पालन करने में सदैव तत्पर रहते थे, इसलिए उस समय उनके द्वारा अपमानित होने पर भी क्षमाशील महामुनि ने उनका अपमान नहीं किया।
Parikshit, the greatest of kings, was always prompt in observing his religious duties; therefore, even though he was insulted by him at that time, the forgiving great sage did not insult him. 23.
