संशयो वह्निरागच्छेद् दृष्टं वायोर्निवर्तनम्।
मृत्युर्नो बिलवासिभ्यो बिले स्यान्नात्र संशय:॥ ३॥ |

| यहाँ तक आग पहुँचेगी या नहीं, इसमें संदेह है; क्योंकि देखा गया है कि वायु के वेग से आग दूसरी ओर मुड़ जाती है। परन्तु इसमें संदेह नहीं कि हम बिल में ही मर जाएँगे, क्योंकि उसके भीतर रहने वाले जीव हैं॥3॥ |
