वह उत्तम रथ नाना प्रकार की ध्वजाओं से सुशोभित था। अर्जुन ने कमर बाँधी, कवच और तलवार धारण की, दस्ताने पहने और रथ की परिक्रमा करके देवताओं को प्रणाम करके उस पर इस प्रकार आरूढ़ हुए, जैसे कोई पुण्यात्मा विमान पर बैठता है।
That excellent chariot was decorated with various flags. Arjuna girded his loins, put on his armour and sword, wore gloves and after circling the chariot and paying his respects to the gods, he mounted it, just as a pious soul sits on a plane.
