उधर सुभद्रा गिरिराज रैवतक तथा समस्त देवताओं का पूजन करके तथा ब्राह्मणों द्वारा स्वस्तिवाचन करवाकर पर्वत की परिक्रमा पूरी करके द्वारका लौट रही थीं। अर्जुन कामदेव के बाणों से अत्यन्त पीड़ित हो रहे थे। उन्होंने दौड़कर सुभद्रा को बलपूर्वक रथ पर बिठा लिया।
