वह भवन अपार धन-संपत्ति से परिपूर्ण होने के कारण कोषाध्यक्ष कुबेर के निवास के समान प्रतीत होता था। हे राजन! वेदों में श्रेष्ठ विद्वान्, सभी भाषाओं के ज्ञाता ब्राह्मण उस नगर में रहने आए। उन सभी को वहाँ रहना बहुत अच्छा लगा। धन कमाने की इच्छा रखने वाले विभिन्न दिशाओं के व्यापारी भी उस नगर में आए।
Being filled with infinite wealth, that building resembled the residence of the treasurer Kubera. O King! The best of all the Ved scholars, the Brahmins who knew all the languages, came to live in that city. They all liked their stay there very much. Merchants from various directions who wanted to earn money also came to that city. 38-39.
