वैशम्पायन कहते हैं- जनमेजय! पाण्डवों ने राजा धृतराष्ट्र की बात मानकर उन्हें प्रणाम किया। आधा राज्य पाकर वे खाण्डवप्रस्थ की ओर चल पड़े, जो एक भयानक वन के रूप में था। धीरे-धीरे वे खाण्डवप्रस्थ पहुँच गए। 26-27।
Vaishampayana says- Janamejaya! The Pandavas accepted the words of King Dhritarashtra and bowed down to him. After getting half the kingdom, they proceeded towards Khandavprastha, which was in the form of a dreadful forest. Slowly they reached Khandavprastha. 26-27.
