अस्मिन् धर्मे विप्रलब्धे लोकवेदविरोधके।
यस्य यस्य मतं यद् यच्छ्रोतुमिच्छामि तस्य तत्॥ ६॥ |

| व्यासजी बोले - 'क्योंकि यह अत्यन्त गम्भीर और शास्त्रों से आवृत है, अतः मैं वेद और लोक के विरुद्ध इस धर्म के विषय में आप सबका मत सुनना चाहता हूँ।' ॥6॥ |
