अनुवाद
"अज्ञानता, या माया को 'बंधु' कहा जा सकता है क्योंकि वह भौतिक संसार में सभी को उलझाती है। इसलिए 'बंधु-हन' शब्द का उपयोग करके, मां सरस्वती कहती हैं कि भगवान कृष्ण माया को हराने वाले हैं।
"Avidya, or maya, can be called 'bandhu,' because it binds everyone in this material world. Therefore, by using the word 'bandhu-han,' Mother Saraswati wants to say that Krishna is the destroyer of maya."
तात्पर्य
प्रत्येक व्यक्ति माया के चक्कर में फँसा हुआ है, पर जैसा भागवद् गीता (7.14) में लिखा है, माम् एव ये प्रपद्यन्ते मायाम् एताम् तरन्ति ते: जैसे ही कोई कृष्ण के शरण में जाता है, वह माया से मुक्त हो जाता है। इसलिए कृष्ण को बंधु-हन कहते हैं, माया को मारने वाला।
