"'पंडितमणि' शब्द का प्रयोग यह दर्शाने के लिए किया जा सकता है कि कृष्ण का सम्मान विद्वान भी करते हैं। फिर भी, अपने भक्तों के प्रति स्नेह के कारण, कृष्ण एक साधारण मनुष्य जैसे प्रतीत होते हैं और इसलिए उन्हें 'मर्त्य' कहा जा सकता है।"
The term "pundit-mani" can be used to indicate that even learned scholars respect Krishna. Nevertheless, because of his affection for his devotees, Krishna appears like an ordinary person, and therefore, he can be called "mortal."
