"जो कवि व्याकरण के नियमों को नहीं जानता, जो रूपक अलंकारों से अपरिचित है, विशेषकर नाटक में प्रयुक्त अलंकारों से, और जो भगवान कृष्ण की लीलाओं को प्रस्तुत करना नहीं जानता, वह निंदित है। इसके अलावा, श्री चैतन्य महाप्रभु की लीलाएँ समझना विशेष रूप से कठिन है।
"Woe to the poet who does not know the rules of grammar, who does not know the figures of speech, especially those used in drama, and who does not know how to present the pastimes of Sri Krishna. Moreover, the pastimes of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu are particularly difficult to understand."
