अनुवाद
"ब्रजभूमि की गोपियाँ सदैव कृष्ण के गुणों, उनके सौंदर्य, उनके माधुर्य, उनकी सुगंध, उनकी बांसुरी की ध्वनि और उनके शरीर के स्पर्श का रसपान करती हैं। मेरे मन की पाँच शिष्याएँ, अर्थात् ज्ञानेन्द्रियाँ, गोपियों से उस रस के अवशेष को एकत्रित करके मेरे मनरूपी योगी के पास पहुँचाती हैं। ये इन्द्रियाँ उस रस को खाकर अपना जीवन निर्वाह करती हैं।
"The gopis of Vrajabhumi always savor the nectar of Krishna's qualities, his beauty, his sweetness, his fragrance, the sound of his flute, and the touch of his body. The five disciples of my mind, my senses, collect the remainder of that nectar from the gopis and bring it to my mind, the yogi. The senses sustain their lives by consuming that remainder.
