"प्रत्येक भक्त का कृष्ण के प्रति एक विशिष्ट प्रकार का दिव्य प्रेम होता है। किन्तु सभी दिव्य संबंधों में भक्त ही उपासक (आश्रय) होता है और कृष्ण ही पूजा के विषय (विषय) होते हैं।"
