"कामदेव के बाण से पीड़ित होकर और श्रीमती राधारानी के साथ किए गए दुर्व्यवहार का दुःखी होकर, भगवान् माधव, कृष्ण, यमुना नदी के तट पर उनकी खोज करने लगे। जब वे उन्हें नहीं पा सके, तो वे वृन्दावन की झाड़ियों में प्रवेश कर गए और विलाप करने लगे।"
"Having been pierced by Kamadeva's arrows and grieved by the ill-treatment meted out to Radharani, Madhava, Lord Krishna, began searching for Srimati Radharani along the banks of the Yamuna River. But when he could not find her, he entered the groves of Vrindavan and began to lament."
