"जो लोग शारीरिक गर्भाधान में हैं, वे मुख्यतः सकाम कर्म में संलग्न रहते हैं। यज्ञ और अनुष्ठान करने वाले भी इसी श्रेणी में माने जाते हैं। हालाँकि, जब ऐसे व्यक्ति शुद्ध भक्त के संपर्क में आते हैं, तो वे अपने सकाम कर्म त्याग देते हैं और पूरी तरह से भगवान की सेवा में लग जाते हैं।
"Those who are situated in the body-soul consciousness are primarily engaged in fruitive activities. Those who perform sacrifices and rituals also fall into this category. But when they somehow come into contact with a pure devotee, they abandon their fruitive activities and become completely devoted to the service of the Lord."
