चूँकि वे परम भगवान हरि से अभिन्न हैं, इसलिए उन्हें अद्वैत कहा जाता है और चूँकि वे भक्ति-पंथ का प्रचार करते हैं, इसलिए उन्हें आचार्य कहा जाता है। वे भगवान हैं और भगवान के भक्त के अवतार हैं। इसलिए मैं उनकी शरण लेता हूँ।
He is one with Lord Hari, and therefore he is called Advaita. He propagates the path of devotion, and therefore he is called Acharya. He is God and an incarnation of the Lord's devotee, therefore I take refuge in him.
