स्नेहवत्, यथा —
पीयूष-द्युतिभिः स्तनाद्रि-पतितैः क्षीरोत्करैर् जाह्नवी
कालिन्दी च विलोचनाब्ज-जनितैर् जाताञ्जन-श्यामलैः ।
आरान्-मध्यम-वेदिम् आपतितयोः क्लिन्ना तयोः सङ्गमे
वृत्तासि व्रज-राज्ञि तत्-सुत-मुख-प्रेक्षां स्फुटं वाञ्छसि ॥३.४.५८॥ |

| यशोदा स्नेह से प्रकट होकर कहती हैं: "हे व्रज की रानी! आपके वक्षस्थल से गिरते मीठे दूध की धाराओं से गंगा नदी उत्पन्न हुई है और आपके कमल-नेत्रों से गिरते काले काजल-मिश्रित आँसुओं से यमुना नदी उत्पन्न हुई है। ये नदियाँ आपकी धड़-वेदी पर मिल रही हैं। दोनों नदियों के संगम पर स्नान करके, आप स्पष्ट रूप से अपने पुत्र का मुख देखने की इच्छा रखती हैं।" |

The river Ganga has arisen from the streams of sweet milk falling from your breasts, and the river Yamuna has arisen from the black kohl-mixed tears falling from your lotus eyes.
