मीठे पानी के समुद्र के पार सुमेरु पर्वत के मध्य से मानसोत्तर पर्वत की सीमा तक जितना क्षेत्र है उतनी विशाल भूमि है। उस क्षेत्र में अनेक प्राणी रहते हैं। उसके आगे लोकालोक पर्वत तक दूसरी भूमि है जो स्वर्ण की बनी है। स्वर्णमयी होने के कारण यह दर्पण की तरह सूर्य की किरणों को परावर्तित करती है। इस कारण इस भूमि पर गिरी हुई कोई वस्तु फिर दिखाई नहीं पड़ती। फलस्वरूप सभी प्राणियों ने इस स्वर्णमयी भूमि को त्याग दिया है।
Beyond the ocean of soft water, there is land as far as the distance from the middle of Sumeru mountain to the border of Manasauttar mountain. Many creatures live in that land. Beyond that, there is another land extending up to Lokalok mountain which is golden. Due to the golden surface, it reflects the sunlight like a mirror, so the object falling in it is not visible again. As a result, all the creatures have abandoned this golden land.
