परमात्मा भले ही भौतिक शरीर के भीतर संघर्षशील मन के साथ मौजूद रहता हो, लेकिन वह कोई प्रयास नहीं करता क्योंकि वह पहले से ही दैवीय ज्ञान से संपन्न है। वह मेरे मित्र की तरह काम करता है और अपने अलौकिक स्थान से केवल साक्षी बनकर देखता है। दूसरी ओर, मैं अत्यंत सूक्ष्म आत्मा के रूप में इस मन को अपना चुका हूँ जो भौतिक जगत की प्रतिबिंब को परावर्तित करने वाला दर्पण है। इस तरह मैं इंद्रियों के विषयों का आनंद लेने में लग गया हूँ और प्रकृति के गुणों के संपर्क के कारण बंधा हुआ हूँ।
Although the Supreme Being is present within the physical body with the struggling mind, He does not make any effort (remains inactive) because He is already united with the divine light. He acts like my friend and only witnesses from His divine position. On the other hand, as the very subtle soul, I have adopted this mind which is a mirror reflecting the image of the physical world. Thus I am engaged in the enjoyment of sense-objects and am bound by the contact with the modes of nature.
