जब गोपियाँ प्रातःकाल कृष्ण को गायों के साथ व्रज से बाहर जाते हुए या संध्या-समय उनके साथ लौटते हुए और बाँसुरी बजाते हुए सुनती हैं, तो वे उन्हें देखने के लिए अपने-अपने घरों से तुरंत बाहर निकल आती हैं। मार्ग पर चलते समय, उन पर दयापूर्ण दृष्टि डालते हुए उनके हँसी से परिपूर्ण मुख को देखने में सक्षम होने के लिए, उन सबों ने अवश्य ही अनेकों पुण्य कर्म किए होंगे।
When the gopis hear Krishna going out of Vraja with his cows in the morning or returning with him in the evening and playing his flute, they rush out of their houses to see him. To be able to see his smiling face while he is walking on the road, casting a compassionate glance at him, they must have performed many pious acts.
