प्रायो बताम्ब मुनयो विहगा वने ’स्मिन्
कृष्णेक्षितं तद्-उदितं कल-वेणु-गीतम्
आरुह्य ये द्रुम-भुजान् रुचिर-प्रवालान्
शृण्वन्ति मीलित-दृशो विगतान्य-वाचः |

| "हे माँ, इस वन में सभी पक्षी कृष्ण के दर्शन हेतु वृक्षों की सुंदर शाखाओं पर चढ़ आए हैं। वे आँखें बंद करके केवल मौन भाव से उनकी बांसुरी की मधुर ध्वनि सुन रहे हैं, और किसी अन्य ध्वनि से आकर्षित नहीं हो रहे हैं। निश्चय ही ये पक्षी महान ऋषियों के समान ही हैं।" |
