भगवान का नाम मुख्यतः वाणी के अर्थ में प्रकट होने के कारण जपने वाले को तथा अन्यों को भी आनंद प्रदान करता है। अतः भगवान के ध्यान से भी बढ़कर उनका नाम-संकीर्तन है।
The Lord's name, primarily because it manifests itself in verbal meaning, brings joy to the one who chants it and others. Therefore, chanting His name is even more important than meditating on Him.
